Why You Left Your Last Job:  I was laid off from my last job in a big wave of layoffs from a major record label music group.  This was in October of 2003. 

How You Started Your Business:  I started my own business by reaching out to managers of musicians that I had worked with during my time at the record label. Through word of mouth and recommendations from colleagues, friends, and family, I was able to start working with some clients, and that was the beginning of my own little independent public relations business.  That was five and a half years ago!

 
What Does Success Mean To You:  Success means being happy with what I do, while also making a good living.  I make more money being self-employed, and I also have the freedom to work mostly from home and be here for my child.
