Why You Left Your Last Job: I was laid off from my last job at a small PR firm that's struggling in this economy. Turned out to be the prompt I needed to get started on my own!

How You Started Your Business: The first thing I did when I started my business was test the waters. I went to a lot of networking events where I had the opportunity to find out how people were hiring and determine what kind of timeline I could expect in terms of acquiring new clients. Next, I contacted a lawyer who was able to file the papers to form the LLC and draft a client agreement.

What Does Success Mean To You: Success to me means my clients are happy and I'm continuing to grow my business, which are the two most important goals to me right now.
